WHAT WILL THIS ROLE INVOLVE?

As Social Media & Engagement Coordinator, you will liaise with key stakeholders across the business to create and execute compelling, relevant and engaging content to be used across all social platforms & email. With support & training from the Social Media & Content Executive, you will be the voice of the brand to our customers, driving the development and implementation of our social media and engagement strategy to increase our presence and to continue to grow our audience.
 

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Creating and executing compelling, relevant and engaging content for all social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest & Linkedin
  • Editing content ensuring images and videos are high quality, optimised for social media or email and in-line with our target markets, with a consistent tone of voice, look and feel, which supports our brand objectives
  • Using our gamification tools to create and execute engaging content for social media & email
  • Keeping up to date with the latest product launches and business needs to proactively develop content for the marketing and CRM teams to use across all channels
  • Alongside the Social Media & Content Executive, working with relevant stakeholders, alongside the Social Media & Content Executive, to ensure that the content plan aligns with the overall customer plan
  • Visiting different stores to create lives, reels and shorts
  • Attending store events, including store launches, to capture content for use across marketing channels
  • Enhancing content using music/graphics and effects to ensure our products, services and stores are visually compelling
  • Increasing our visibility on social media to target and attract new audiences
  • Monitoring social media trends, virals and formats and competitors to ensure we remain relevant and customer first
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting performance across all social media platforms

 

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN YOU

  • An excellent knowledge of all social media channels, with an understanding of best practices and a desire to keep increasing knowledge
  • At least 1 year of experience working in social media and content creation is preferred
  • A strong creative executor, with excellent copywriting skills and the ability to create compelling customer content
  • Commercially aware, balancing customer relationships and brand/communication stories with business needs
  • An ability to stay up-to-date and curious with current and new technologies and trends in social media, and and interest in driving continuous improvement to ensure the brand remains relevant
  • A dynamic, passionate self-starter who can prioritise their own workload and take full accountability for all aspects of the role
  • Excellent prioritisation skills with the confidence to adapt plans to capture opportunities and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • A team player with a can-do attitude who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure work is completed on time and to the highest standards
  • The ability to be flexible and work to support the needs of the business including occasional weekend / out of hours working
  • The ability for occasional travel to offsite meetings and events for content creation
  • An analytical mind, able to interpret monitor, track and report performance across all social media platforms to help drive decisions
