WHAT WILL THIS ROLE INVOLVE?
The Retail Marketing Executive will play a vital role in the development and execution of customer-focused marketing campaigns across our retail store estate. You will support both promotional and tactical marketing activities within the business, ensuring effective production of all point of sale. Supporting the Retail Point of Sale Manager in the communication and execution of store marketing initiatives. The role involves managing point-of-sale (POS) materials, coordinating in-store campaigns with a focus on meeting strategic goals and maintaining cohesive brand messaging across all touchpoints.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Drive retail campaigns from concept to delivery, ensuring all activities are fully integrated across teams and communicated effectively to stores. Capture learnings and feedback to continuously improve future campaigns.
Manage the production of marketing materials such as artwork, flyers, and printed collateral. Provide support with art-working design using templates and guidelines (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop etc.)
Address store queries regarding POS and active promotional offers, ensuring smooth communication between the marketing team and retail locations.
Support the Retail Point of Sale Manager in all retail marketing activity, following timelines, and ensuring the successful delivery of marketing projects including new store and refit marketing plans, from briefing through to POS production and store implementation.
Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies, ensuring the successful production and delivery of POS materials and other printed assets.
Process and submit invoices, maintain records, and provide general administrative support to the Retail POS Manager and Head of Marketing.
Work closely with various departments (Trading, Merchandising, Retail Operations) to ensure the marketing strategy aligns with business objectives and seasonal campaigns.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, develop new approaches to in-store communications, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Effective and efficient creation and distribution of POS materials and printed collateral.
Successful delivery of retail campaigns with measurable impact on store performance.
Gain positive feedback from stores and cross-functional teams regarding support and communication.
WHAT WOULD WE LIKE TO SEE IN YOU?
Prior experience in a retail marketing role with a strong understanding of in-store marketing and POS.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external agencies.
Detail-oriented with a creative eye and a practical, “can-do” attitude.
Highly organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in design tools such as InDesign and Illustrator with a basic understanding of the print production process is beneficial.
Experience managing external suppliers and agencies is preferred.
A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
